Dental Veneers

A veneer is a very thin, tooth-coloured piece of porcelain (Yes really! Imagine it like a false fingernail). It is securely bonded on top of your own tooth.

We use a crown when you’ve broken a tooth. This might happen because of trauma, or weakening by decay or because of a very large filling.

The crown fits over the remaining part of a prepared tooth- like a cap, making it strong and giving it the shape of a natural tooth. It will also be the same colour as your teeth, giving the restoration a more natural appearance so it fits in with the rest of your teeth.
