IV sedation involves placing a small tube into a vein in your arm or hand. Relaxing medicine is given through this line to help you feel deeply calm during implant surgery.
You’ll remain conscious and able to respond if we speak to you, but most patients feel very relaxed and remember little about the procedure afterwards.
